This school is a standard type of elementary school with many things that one would expect to find in a good elementary school: compassionate teachers, before and after school options, as well as a focus on whole child development in all areas and content.

I wrote the first review for East Elementary. My 3 children attended East for 2 years. I was quite mistaken when I wrote that review. One of my children had an amazing teacher. That situation greatly influenced my viewpoint. I wrongly assumed all of the staff was as compassionate and competent. There are absolutely no extra curricular activities, no challenge programs, and no learning outside of the very limiting, proverbial, box. I have since moved my kids to a different city so that they may receive a high level education. The comparison of curriculum and energy is staggering to say the least! The families of, and children that attend any of the Craig schools are facing dire circumstances when they are forced to realize that this education is most certainly sub-standard. I pray that the Craig schools are thoroughly examined at the state level. This is completely unfair to these kids!

I would need to say that I agree completely with the review of a completely substandard education. It is scary when you realize how very, very, little ours kids are learning. (I volunteer in 2 of the classrooms.) I was told they simply did not have the staff to give special attention to each child. I agree with the above review wholeheartedly! I desperately hope somebody helps these kids.
