One of the best private schools in the Denver metro area period. The graduates go on to some of the most elite colleges in the country and thrive both academically and socially. The middle and upper school experiential programs are among the best in the nation. The students have out of school trips every year starting in middle school and in high school have trips to LA and Israel. The teachers and parents all know the students and one another well which creates a true sense of community and accountability. I can easily say this was the best investments we ever made for our children and our family. If you are a Jewish parent in Denver, look no further. Whether or not your are observant, your children will grow up with a strong and meaningful identity which would be difficult to create elsewhere.

We pulled our children from a highly reputable public school to DJDS since our children were slipping through the cracks and we were looking for a school with smaller class sizes. We did our homework and looked at a lot of private schools. We are not particlarly religious and had never even considered DjDS until it was recommended to us by a highly regarded child psychologist. What we gained was so much more! The community welcomed our entire family with open arms. Our children were challenged academically beyond what they received in public schools and their confidence level has soared. They have had opportunities they never would have had if we kept them in public schools. Catching up on th Hebrew was not a obstacle whatsoever. DJDS is a unique environment that promotes children to the best of their abilities and to be prepared in this ever changing world. The character development will help our children in any path they choose and help them in life. Our entire family has gained a true community. I would highly recommend DJDS to every Jewish family in the Denver community. Our only regret is that we didn't start at DJDS from the beginning!

My three children have been thriving at DJDS since 2006. We love the warm, welcoming community of parents and the incredible teaching staff and administration. My children's teachers understand what each child in the classroom needs and manage to reach each and every one of them to maximize their potential. Not only are my children learning to be analytical and building critical thinking skills, they are also learning how to speak a second language (daily instruction) and how to be great citizens of the world thanks to a focus on Jewish learning and values that encourages children to see themselves as having the capacity and responsibility to make the world a better place.

Denver JDS has been instrumental in my three elementary age students' strong senses of identity, pride in their community, and most importantly, an academic setting where they can each thrive. The dual-language curriculum has been incredibly helpful in diversifying their study skills, and improving their overall academic performance. Finally, the loving and nurturing community of parents, teachers and staff are second to none. This school is serving the Denver Jewish Community in immeasurable ways and should be commended and supported.

We spent thousands at Herzl between kindergarten and the second grade. Unfortunately the result was our child was behind and unhappy with school. The good news is we moved her to another school in the third grade. Now she is graduating 5th grade with A's and loves her current school. After our positive experiences elsewhere, I am certain the problem was the school, not us or our kid. I hate to write anything bad about a jewish school because I am jewish and value that aspect of the education. But I would like to save other families and children the pain we experienced.

I would recomend this school to any Jewish Family. The environment is very safe and sheltered. The secular studies reach farther than anywhere else, and students get to learn all about their jewish history and their ancestors. The teacher student ratio is very small and their is so much more personal attention. I am a former Herzl student and I loved every minute of it. The teachers are truly gifted, and the whole class is friends with each other. This school is truly a unique and wonderful treasure to all who experience it Happy holidays and may G-d Hashem the lord bless you!!!
