I have been working with La Academia for almost 6 years. The staff is caring and hard working. I have seen many students transfer to this school, feeling discouraged and frustrated from being in a traditional school, turn it around. They may be small and not have as much as other schools but what they give in love, support, and academics is incomparable to any other school around.

Even though it's small, this school gives the students great opportunities. They volunteer a lot around the community and that is a very important thing to do. The staff is very caring and understand the needs of every student. If a student is having problems, the staff is always there to support the student.

la academia is by far the best school in the world with wonderful students and staff that care for us and will always be there for you and how all the teachers say we are all a family and it really does fell like it , it might be a small school but I really don't know what I can do without this wonderful school full of people that love you and want you to achieve a goal in life there is only 4 words I can say about this awesome school it is the best!!!!

This is one of the greatest school in all of Colorado! The teachers and staff are great with the students! If a student isn't doing what they're supposed to be doing, the teachers work with them one-on-one so they can improve their grades. This school is small compared to other schools, but that's a good thing because the students are very close with eachother and the staff has a great relationship with each and every one of the students!

My name is Cristian and I' am an 8th grader here at La Academia. This school is the best school I have ever been to. The staff here is amazing and they all love their students as if they are their own children. Everyone here is so polite to one another and we are all there for each other through thick and thin. I don't know what I would do without this wonderful school.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
