Animas Valley is a wonderful school! I am not sure how someone can be upset that there are 'too much staff.' I feel so blessed for community and attention that my son recieves at Animas.
This school is an average elementary school. There is an issue with too much staff at times, however the student teacher ratio is good. I think that there are issues with student accountability and follow through for gifted students.
I love Animas Valley Elementary! The teachers and staff are wonderful, and they really care about the students. It is in a great area of Durango and could not be more perfect. I wish my son could go there every year.
