South Park High School has the potential of being a great school. Some of the Administrative staff and 2/3rds of the faculty I rate high for their interest in the children and desire to work with the parents. Another 1/3 are difficult and believe only they know what is best for the children. If the extracurricular activities were enhanced and parents pay close attention to their children's classes and teachers, the school is a good place for them to be.

I think that the school is actually a somewhat safe environment for the students to learn. The teachers are able to focus more independently on the students that need help. A good place for students to be and learn from focused and entirely competent teachers.

I am a former student of this school and do not think very highly of it. The teachers are of average to less than average quality, there isn't much elective choices (funding almost cancelled music, shop, or art classes). Overall I just think it's a low-quality school.

I would like to thank South Park High School for the years of education that our son received there, he did very well there and has gone to and finished college and I think South Park prepared him for it. The teacher were very good and really took an interest in helping them, I know that the class of 2000 for the majority did very good. They had a good bunch of teachers then and they have become good friends of ours after he finished high school. Our son transfered there when he was in the 7th grade. Thanks again for a job well done. Myrna & John Mestas

I attended SPHS and it was a good school. The kids didn't get into half as much trouble as a city school. Also Mrs. Wedow is an amazing math teacher. Good math teachers are hard to find.
