...we found this school prepared our son beyond our expectations...the small class, non graded, not test focused school individualized education and taught so many nurturing and "get along" and group skills. Each task and situation asked our son two questions (1) what can you learn from this and (2) how can you take responsibility for your choices. Having been in probably over 100 schools with my work...i wish every child could have the Oakwood experience...

Oakwood School helped my child more than I imagined it would. My child become responsible for her own education, and focused and enthusiastic about learning. In addition, the school community is comprised of a wonderful, caring faculty and staff, making this school a fantastic place for children and families.

Oakwood gave me the idea that I could move at my own pace academically, and take knowledge for my own; in doing so I have sought out challenges whose rewards have make my educational experience wonderfully rich.
