A school that embraces parent involvement. I have never felt so welcome to participate in the learning development with my child as I do at the Lab School. Small classes, motivated community, enthusiastic teachers and best of all- happy and excited children!

Love this school, been part of the community for more than 5 years. Great new principal, excellent teachers, who are so creative. Yes, there are weak spots (not so good on PE, art and music plus the lunchroom environment leaves a lot to be desired), but it's so affirming to the students. The community asks 'who are you and how can we support your growth' rather than imposing who you should become.

This is our first year at the Lab and our kids really enjoy it. The Expeditionary learning (EL) model is evolving, with many great changes ahead. The children embrace the hands-on learing and the many field trips (field work) that enables true learning and growth. The teachers are wonderful and committed educators and embrace the EL model.

Very weak in academics. Students from this school struggle in junior high.
