This school has been amazing from day one. From the office front desk to nurse. And the principal he is checking in the classrooms several times a day to make sure everyone is ok. The teachers are so amazing and care about every child. The team of people that help children with any special needs seem to go above and beyond. The kids love the art and music teacher. Going to the library is fun for the kids. Our child loves bring home new books. I'm truly very happy and we are new to the area so I was very worried. But it has been wonderful. Hope this helps someone. We feel our child is learning so much as well as making life long friends.
Since my son is only in Kindergarten, so far he likes his teachers, the music room and program and most of all, I like that it is in the mountains
My wife teaches there. The staff is dedicated, caring and professional.
This school prides it's self on it's Colorado CSAP scores. They have a music, art, and physical education program. They are all taught by different teachers who specialize in that field. The PTA is very active at the school and does many things to help the school. Extracurricular activities are offered by the Rec. Department.
I am extremely pleased with the expriences that my children have had at Fraser Valley Elementary. For the most part, the teachers are caring, fair and creative in their approaches. The school tries hard to provide a balanced curriculum and students are able to try many different subjects. The class size and student:teacher ratios are good. I am very pleased with FVES. I think the only detraction is the principal. Fortunately there are very few times when a parent would have to deal with her.
