Too few resources for such a large school. The student body is lost, the administration can't see the forest through the trees, lots of kids falling through the cracks due to lack of a cohesive environment.

I love FMHS! I love my teachers they are all very nice people and are very caring individuals. This year I took 3 AP classes and the teachers in those classes helped me and on test day I felt really prepaired. Also the councilors are really helpful! I was totally in the dark about picking a college but they helped me pick out some that are right for me and now I will be attending CSU in the fall! I love my school, sure there are a lot of students, but tell me one school that doesn't have a ton of kids.

Has a former student and a parent of a junior, I honesly can say that things haven't changed a whole lot in 25 years. The class sizes are still over crowed even after they moved the 9th grade to another school. On the average they have between 30 and 35 students per class. In general the teacher are ok however as usual they are more interest in helping the fast learners then helping the students who need extra help. They are more interest in teaching the standards to get better test scores than what the students really need to prepare for college and real life. This school is in a rural community with students bussed from the city to attend. I have another student who be attending next year. Thank goodness for the Agiculture program or he will be drop out static.

I am a student at Fruita Monument High School and absolutely love it there. They have outstanding achedemics that has made my grades skyrocket from my older grades of a D's to my new grades of As and Bs. The teachers really know what they are talking about when I am in class and I learn so much during that time period. It seems like i never get bored since the teachers make every class so interesting. Besides the teachers, the students are wonderful. We have so much spirt at this school. Our football players are such good sports while some of the other schools are not. We are always there to give a handshake and say 'Good game.' I would not go to another school for anything since this one is so incredible. I would reconmend everyone to go the Fruita Monument High School.

the teachers are all really nice, the brunt of the kids are well behaved, and there is a no tollerance policy for bullying. Everytime i walk through the double doors, i feel safe and secure.

I would never send my child back to this school again! The administration does a poor job and that's the same with the teachers!

I must say that as a former student of FMHS i can't think of a better school that i would want my own child to go to. The majority of the teacher's really seemed to enjoy their jobs and attacked each job with the exuberance of a highly paid college of private school instructor. Kudos to the administration for their excellent choices in faculty.
