I currently am a student at Yampah Mountain High. I can tell all you who are considering to send your children here that it is a wonderful school. This school and the people inside have helped me immensely. And I can say that I wouldn't be who I am today if it weren't for Yampah. The school itself functions like a large family. There are no cliques, no groups. We all are friends with each other. Another thing I love about this school, is the self directed learning. The teachers always joke around that they are hear to teach us. I love this school, and in the time I am here, I'm willing to support any new people through their journey. I hope this review helps you decide that Yampah is the place for your child, or for you to go.

Yampah offers all of the necessary core classes that students need to succeed after graduation. The availability of extracurricular activities at Yampah far surpasses any of the public schools in this valley. These extracurricular activities aren't designed around the teachers, but rather what the students want to be involved in and care about. The students obtain valuable knowledge participating in these activities from teachers who are truly there for the students. The level of parent involvement is at the most beneficial level for the students. The teachers do an awesome job of keeping the parents informed, while teaching the students to take on more responsibilities for themselves. Not only does the administration show a caring and respectful attitude toward the students, but the students themselves treat each other with respect. The same can't be said for many schools.

I use to be a student at Yampah Mountain High School and I just want people to know that if it weren't for the staff and the opprotunities that were provided I would not have graduated.
