The superintendent wrecked this school by asking the much-loved principal, Mrs. Hemmen to leave. She was doing a great job and now lots of parents are talking about pulling their children from there. She is the one who needs to go. Bring back Hemmen. BOO!

Wonderful class size, teachers meet the needs of all students and the principals know students, parents and teachers very well. This is a safe, neighborhood school with lots to offer.

GSES is an excellent school. Students get individualized education. Children are tested, then sent to their corresponding levels for literacy. The kids are well behaved and diverse.
