I have a daughter in the pre-K program here who has grown so much socially and academically this year. The environment is very loving and she learns to be part of a group as well as basic academics. It is a gentle and kind environment and she is excited to go to school every day.

Small classroom size, social studies centered curriculum, mix of independent and group learning, interactions with students of all ages in a cooperative fashion are all benefiting my son immensely. He is also learning how to be a part of a community, and how his actions impact all that surrounds him.

My gifted child graduated from Golden Independent. Because of the small groups, individualized learning, and the equal importance of social, intellectual and emotional development, she is able to soar in middle school. Independent research projects, community service, trips, and other self-directed learning are a breeze for her. She faces and solves problems with other people, and is gang- and clique-proof!
