Romero is a wonderful place for your student to grow and learn. We teach values to students that will last a lifetime, as well as guide them towards success. As a teacher at Romero, I am amazed everyday by the culture of excellent achievement. I love being a part of such a positive and energetic atmosphere. The staff is innovative and driven to help our students reach their maximum potential. Students are excited to come to school everyday. Many families are from "out of zone" but choose to bring their students to Romero to be a part of our family.

My son attends this school and while I think the teachers and staff their are friendly, I do not feel they are willing to help children who are struggling. I cannot even tell you how many times my child has been sent home because he was being "difficult". Instead of dealing with his issues and working with him they call me right away and make him come home. It's to the point now that if I think hes going to have a hard day I just keep him home and we do worksheets and read here which from what I can tell is about all they do at his school. He attended another school for part of this year before we moved and it was so amazing, I am now sad we moved to this awful district. My child is one of the few white children in Romero Elementry. Add on top of that his issues with staying focused and on task and he seems to fall through the cracks at this school I Really hope things change for the better because with only 2 weeks left of this school year I am strongly considering putting him in another school over 45 min away so that I know he will receive the attention he deserves rather than just being sent home when hes not the perfect child in class.

Bella Romero is a great place for your child to grow and learn. The positive academic-rich environment promotes excellent achievement among all students. The staff is friendly, and focused on creating bonds of a family centered on positive behavior and each child exceeding their potential. Come be a part of our family!
