We love Belle Creek! Our son has attended BC for the last 2 years. He has done so well. He loves his teachers and the rest of the staff. We are so thankful for BC, and the fact that it's within walking distance from our house is an added bonus!

My child is in 1st grade at this school. I am very unimpressed with all 3 of the teachers. There are only about 8 1/2 weeks of school left and all I can say is Thanks Goodness!! It has really been a trial this year. There is very little if any communication from the teachers. Homework is a farce. The principal is hardly ever seen. I see the Asst Principals all the time. When you do see the principal she always has a scowl on her face. Doesn't seem to be happy about working with children. Am seriously looking for another school to send my child to next year.

I have two children in this school, my oldest has been here for 5 years and it's my youngest first year. I personally love the school. I disagree with some of the comments saying the principal is not around, I drop my kids off every morning and always see her greeting the children. I will say that they have come a very long way from the first year and continue to improve every year and the teachers are great. When my oldest started to struggle at the beginning of the year I had every one of her teachers contacting me and together we got her on track and she is back to straight A's. Therefore, in my opinion the teachers actually care a lot more than any other schools that my friends children attend. I will say in 5th grade there is a good amount of homework which is rough as a working parent to schedule everything around but I would much rather have them have a lot of homework and learning versus having no homework and not learning anything. I recommend this school to anyone as they have done a great job, and in my opinion way better than a traditional public school.

My family is extremely disappointed in this school. Communication between teachers and parents is nonexistent, we have never met or seen the principal, bullying is an everyday occurrence and obviously tolerated by teachers and staff as nothing is done about it when it is reported. We are in the process of exploring our options for other schools in the area and cannot get out of this school fast enough.

Terrible school. Never once saw the main principal. She has VP do all meetings. 1st grade teachers are not supportive. They are not equipped to provide students the education they need. More than 10 kids from 1st grade have transferred to a nearby elementary school and are now academically progressing as they should of been in Belle Creek CS. The school does not communicate effectively with parents. Communication is horrible.

We travel over 10 miles to this school we love because clearly it allows us choice of the environment we choose to raise our children. I want my children to not grow up a product of their environment but know they are key to the success of their environment. I will allow their life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. The teachers are suffering and in need of the help because they are creating an environment of learning while fundamently all districts nearby are suffering budget cuts which lead to job cuts.

Prospective teachers should be wary when choosing a Charter School as a potential employer. Teachers get very little administrative support in this school and the administrators expect miracles.

I choose to have my children attend this school. It's a drive well worth it! There are a good core group of teachers who have been at this school that help make it thrive and help the new teachers-which I happen to think are also outstanding! The Principal is visible-you see her greeting the younger children on the South side of the building everyday! I see one of the Vice Principal's patrolling the drop off/pick up area on the West Side of the school everyday! There are also many teachers patrolling different areas of the school before and after school to make sure our children are safe. They make sure the traffic flows smoothly and that our children arrive/leave safely. They have security measures set-up to make sure our children are safe. I am happy with the administration & teachers. The curriculum promotes critical thinking skills and responsibilty.

This school is still new, people are going too be catching on about charter schools. Yes charter school are hard and some say they give to much home work but that is what keeps charter school ahead of the non charter schools. So the people that don't like this school change schools. Belle creek is nuber one!!!
