We have one of the best schools in Delta County. All the way from the teachers who have special relationships with there students to our Principal Mrs. Coats. We have the BEST SCHOOL!!

Great school for kids who learn easy, but if your child has special ed needs forget it! Special ed is a disaster

They REALLY care for their students! They're not numbers...they're names! I feel that they are trying to not let one child 'fall through the cracks'! I like seeing the teachers and principal walk down the halls and 'high-five' students. I like seeing the faculty at sports functions and other extra-cirricular activities that they personally don't have children in! They go to show their support! I had to join their P.I.T. Crew! I had to be a part of this school and support it the best I could! What a wonderful way to involve not just the parents but the community! I KNOW my daughters will not struggle the way I did! They offer so much more than I was offered in school. I feel like I've got 'back-up' with EVERY aspect of my childrens lives. I now understand the meaning of 'it takes a community to raise a child'. THANK YOU!

Hotchkiss K-8 is a great school for children to attend. Hotchkiss is more of a sports related school than the nearby Paonia School. Paonia is more academic related. Hope that this helps!
