Hotchkiss High School

There is an incredible amount of biased people at this school; you must follow a certain stereotype in order to fit in here and the teachers and faculty follow this stereotype and are so judgmental if a student does not follow this generalization of characteristics. No one is open minded and students are judged like a book by it's cover, rather than by their inner-self. Not to mention, the academics are not nearly challenging enough, leaving students unprepared not only for college, but for the real world as well.

Outstanding school with a top staff and leadership. Only Colorado HS to receive the Comm. Cup last year. Truly a student-centered school.

One of the top schools in the state, the staff, administrators and teachers really care about the students and it shows in the student grades and their pride in their school!

Hotchkiss high does a wonderful job of teaching kids on a personal basis. One of the best school in Colorado let alone Delta County

The Delta County schools in general are great schools. They are among the most technologically advanced schools. I like that in today's world of internet being so readily available I can online at any hour of the day and as assignments, tests, etc., are graded I can see how they are doing in each class. The schools are very positive schools, there is a lot of parent and teacher interaction. The students also form great relationships with their teachers. We came from very large schools to the smaller schools and there is a world of difference in parent, student, teacher and administrator interactions.
