Smaller classroom size, teachers and staff who actually care about your child as well as their education. Art, music, and PE are still taught. A board and staff that handle monies appropriately. While most schools are cutting programs, cca is thriving. A large number of parental involvement as well.
I made the choice to bring my two children to this school and kept them there from kindergarten through 8th grade. It is a lot of work to pack lunches everyday and drive them there and back. There are no food services at the school and no busses. So it makes it so that if the parents don't want to put the effort in to there kids they don't come to this school. That is a good thing. The students that go to this school want to be there and so do their parents. It makes it such a better school than just dumping the kids on the bus and letting someone else take care of them. There is a mandatory amount of volunteer time for the parents so that they stay involved in their kids lives. It is a great school.
We took my daughter out of a private school to attend this one, and I'm very satisfied with the first 5 weeks. The teachers work hard to challenge the children. The parents are made to feel very welcome. Communication is excellent. The principal and the rest of the staff appear to be hands on. Love, love, love it! The other parent who submitted a review is 100% correct about the curriculum. If something changes, I'll submit another review.
