As a past student I personally know the school has a very excellent and long history of outstanding education. even as a rural school in the 1970's they provided on site art, music, drama,physical ed and team sports and a traveling library. Parent involvement was a key factor in all aspects of successful education in all areas, the teaching staff regularly had parent assistants in the classroom and on off site fieldtrips. This institute of learning has stood the test of time and keeps on ticking.

'Alta Vista is a great school. I have never seen such a team of teachers and other employees so dedicated to the success of each and every student. Every employee in that building inspires and encourages the students to do their best. Also, the amount of volunteers at the school make a huge difference. Nearly every parent, both moms and dads, spend time at the school to ensure success. I couldn't be happier with the communication from the school and I am totally impressed with how much my children have learned. The school focuses on academics as well as values. I honestly believe Alta Vista has put my children on the road to success. I recommend the school to everyone!'
