I have a 2nd grade student at Washington and I have had very good outcomes from all staff with my boys.

Great school that brings out the potential in every child! The staff is devoted and caring, and the students show that in their performance.

I have two children who have attended Washington for the past 4 years. Kindergarten thru second grade where wonderful... no complaints, but now that they have entered 3rd & 4th, it seems that the school is more interested in testing the kids instead of teaching. So much stress is put on these kids for the CSAPS.

I just wanted to talk about mrs. Dickerson the kindergarten teaher. If you arent aware of it she has been in the whos who of american teachers book for the last two years in a row. That is an awsome achievement that most teachers dont get 1 time in their career letalone two times consecutivly. She spends more time at the school than most teachers do, and she also keeps her home and two kids runing smoothly along with many many other projects. She has served on many school related activities and more. So washington ought to be very glad to have a caring teacherlike mrs. Dickerson on their team. So thank her for making kindergarten at washington so much fun and such a graet place to learn. Thank you

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
