There is not a resource room for sever learning disablities but there are individual options for students that need one on one.

Everything is brought back to a Christian worldview. Students are asked if they are being Christlike, are you representing Christ well?

Amount of homework: Agree

Each grade level has building expectations. Students are given opportunities to complete in class. Teachers work with parents to ensure that homework does not last longer than 20 to 30 minutes per night. Less in the lower grades.

Working at Cherry Hills has been an incredible blessing. First and foremost, at Cherry Hills Christian, not only is the Bible taught for what it is - the inspired Word of God - but it forms the foundation of all other texts.  In reading, in math, in social studies, in science, all academic roads lead to God. It is a true blessing to walk alongside students as they pursue God, even at the ages of 6 and 7. The administration and staff are supportive and encouraging in my walk with Christ and as an educator. I love that I am able to give my students individualized learning and attention to help them grow and succeed academically, emotionally, socially and most importantly spiritually.

At Cherry Hills Christian, our staff loves God, loves kids, and loves one another - the recipe for success! I love being part of all God is doing in and through our school. What a great privilege it is to work here!!

Our experience with Cherry Hills Christian has exceeded the expectations we had when we first started our oldest at the school for Kindergarten.  We have found the school has the perfect balance of academics and spirituality that gives our children the solid foundation they will need to navigate the challenges of the world they will inherit.  The culture of the school allows opportunities for parents who want to be involved to do so in a constructive way, but also has the resources to be self sufficient for parents who do not have the time or desire to be involved.  Truly a school that can satisfy the needs of all types of families.

Cherry Hills is a best in class school with wonderful teachers and administration. It is a Christ centered school with a focus on not only bringing the best education to our children through technology and loving educators and supporting staff but also building hearts of service in our kids. There is also a huge focus on not just being a place for our kids to go to school but building a community of families to shine God’s light into the world. I couldn't imagine a better place for our kids to grow their faith and education!

Cherry Hills Christian is an excellent Christian school that builds positive relationships and provides an outstanding academic environment for students. Biblical worldview is infused into every subject and woven throughout the school's culture. Students are learning how to make a difference in this world!

Cherry Hills has very limited athletic offerings, no band and several other limitations when compared to other Christian schools near by. They have a HUGE number of staff members that doesn't seem necessary..tuition could be lowered without so many staff positions. I would suggest looking elsewhere.

We attended Cherry Hills for several years, elementary and middle school included. This is considered "the" private Christian school to go to if you live in the Highlands Ranch area since it is large and well-established. So we were ready to be impressed. Over time, however, we discovered that this school isn't all that it seems. Yes, it is officially "Christian" but the majority of students/families seem to attend more for the "private" part than the "Christian" element and it shows in their attitudes and behaviors. Cherry Hills has so many rules that you'd think good behavior would result but it seems that they treat the behavior and not the heart. The school has a great focus on missions and community outreach, but there is still a secular and aggressively-materialistic culture that dominates (Unfortunately that can be fairly common in Christian schools that serve a higher-income area so Cherry Hills is not alone in this, Anastassis and Arma Dea are similar). The school is quite crowded so it might not be the best fit if you are looking for a more personal, nurturing environment for your student. The teachers, however, are very good. Just know that if you are looking for a school primarily for your child to be with other strong-faith Christian children and families this school might not be the best fit.
