My son is currently in the 6th grade group at Flagstaff. We enrolled our son at Flagstaff this year and I regret that decision everyday. The main curriculum is decent but really nothing over and above. This school will probably be a good in a few years but they are really unstable and it is really hard to get any info or news in a timely manner from teachers or the staff. Also, the extracurriculars are all over the place so be prepared to be frustrated.

Great curriculum but not for special needs kids. In fact, they try to force them out because they lack the skills, infrastructure or knowledge to deal with them. This school appears to be trying to cater only to a certain population of students which will raise their CSAP scores...the rest of them be damned.

My two children attend since 2006-2007 and the caliber of knowledge equals that of a private school (both children attended private school prior to this charter). the number of after school programs is exemplary and the art and music programs are unequaled in the area (i.e. the music teacher is designing the National music curriculum for Core Knowledge.

My 2 children attend Flagstaff and while not a founding family, we have attended Flagstaff since it's inception 3 years ago. We could not be more pleased with the curriculum, the teachers, the leadership and parent involvement in this school.
