Before enrolling at TCS, we had a difficult time finding a school that was a good fit for our 11 year old daughter. After 7 different schooling options, she came to TCS and it has truly been the best school for her. The teachers are amazing and she is so happy here! ~ a parent

The teachers are great and truly care about the kids. The administrator is genuinely concerned with the students AND families. The Christ centered education has made a big difference in our family after having our kids in public schools for many years.

Effective school leaders: Strongly disagree

- a
The school has gone through multiple leadership changes in a short while of time, and there is a clear lack of trust in the school leadership.

Since ThornCreek Church took ownership of the school, we thought it would be a new start for the School, However it has been all smoke and mirrors. The Church promised a new building for the 17-18 school year, but has yet to break ground much less even acquired building permits. The Church exaggerated their attendance numbers to parents and staff, and we recently learned that many board members have been added or removed without parents or staff being notified. There have also been clear conflicts of interests between the church and school with board members serving in two capacities. There have been numerous staff members removed from their from positions without any explanation, but yet staff members with multiple complaints are still employed at the school. The academics no longer live up to the standard that they publish, and the sports program has been decimated by the current athletic director leading to at least 5 long tenured coaches leaving the program. We have left ThornCreek Church, and are considering removing our children at the semester. Please save yourself heartache and find another private school to enroll your children in.

The personal attention from the staff shows dedication and love for the students. Having the education centered around Christ is the most important part, although the quality is top notch as well.
