People actually care about your children at this school. Coaches will bring the best out of them and they will learn much more then a test could ever measure. This place made a good man out of me and most of my friends.

I was a student at Swink from K-12. It has good and bad qualities. Because it is so small, there is a great student/teacher ratio and a lot of individualized attention in classes and when applying to colleges. There are also some excellent teachers, although sometimes a bit behind the times in their teaching views. However, because of the small size, there are also issues. There is a very 'clickish' feel and students become categorized by each other. For students who enjoy sports, this is a great place to be. However, for students who have other interests, such as music or art, those interests are not highly looked upon. Also, incidents of 'bullying' are sometimes 'overlooked'. If you have a student who has diverse interests in areas such as music and art and who is interested in excelling in academics without ridicule from other students, send your child elseware.
