Air Academy High School

Air Academy is the top of its class in every aspect; the teachers, academics, students, and extracurricular activites. For those interested in sports; this year, we have clinched five sports titles. In one year! Boy's swimming, Girl's lacrosse, Girl's soccer, Girl's basketball, and wrestling. Our Boy's baseball also got into the finals but lost against the defending champions. The marching band also won state and the supernationals in Texas The teachers are truly of the best quality any student can receive. Their academic requirements are strict yet a student can always askk for help and will receive great care and attention as well as wonderful guidance and much more knowledge. The building is very clean and though it is old, very stylish and updated to the top of technology. Art and music are very top-notched and education is very important. There are many different ethnicities and it is a very friendly and welcoming environment! Our schoool spirit is contagious and we will most definitely welcome you with open arms! Make sure to choose Air Academy as your high school!

We recently moved to CO and couldn't be more happy with AAHS. The students have made my son feel welcome and the members of the band are top notch! The academics are challenging but appreciated and the school spirit is amazing! Eventhough we moved here from a smaller city, we have been made to feel right at home.

Air Academy is such an amazing school. I recently moved away from CO and I am so sad i won't be able to finish my high school experience there. I attended AAHS for my entire freshman year and absolutely loved it. The teachers are fantastic, the educational opportunities are great, and the school is so awesome. There are so many clubs and extra-curricular activities to join. There's something for everyone. Most of the kids are very friendly. I love that school and i would reccomend going there to any high school student.

I am Currently a sudent at Air Academy High School and it is absolutely a fantastic school. For the Students- You make a lot of new friends. If you have a class without a friend, it wont be long until you make a new friend in that class. You have a lot of freedom and there are tons of school activities each and every year. For the Parents- This school is rated number one in disctrict 20 and I guarantee it shall remain there for years to come.

AAHS is a great school. The perfect size in my opinion. My son, as an incoming freshman and new to the state met kids from all classes at the summer band camp. The music program is outstanding, offering so many levels for all talents. The choices for honors and AP classes are the best. Go Kadets

My son has been flourishing at AAHS. As a member of the excellent marching band, he feels valued by the students as well as faculty. The principal makes it his business to get to know the students, whether it is accompanying them on trips or joining them on a hike. The Outdoor Fitness program is unique and giving students opportunities to enjoy the wonders of Colorado's natural beauty. I HIGHLY endorse the academic as well as the performing arts programs. This school is a gem!

I absolutely love this school! I just moved here this past summer so this was my first year at AAHS. I am a sophmore and absolutely love it here! I came from a small rural community in Minnesota with hardly any funding for any of the changes that needed to be made. I came here and I absolutely felt accepted the first day and made some great friends. This is a wonderful school because I feel safe with it being on a military establishment so I could focus more on my academics and extra-curricular activities. I will say that it's kind of weird to go on a military establishment to get to school though...But I still love it here!

I went to Air Academy from Freshmen to Senior year and I loved it. I just graduated this past year ('06) and so many in my class here attending top colleges. The teachers are well educated and will help all students to do their best. The schools academics, athletics and everything else are in great top condition. I would recommend this school to anybody. With the school being on the USAFAcademy, there is more security in the area.

Air Academy is the best school ever! I went there my Freshman and Sophomore year and loved it! I then transferred to Lewis Palmer, and honestly would do anything to go back to Air Academy! The way they teach (hands on) is great! I also loved how you weren't degraded if you were in the band. If anything, you were appreciated. I really liked how my mom could be doing concessions at a game, while I watched my good friend, Kaeleigh play basketball. I miss having my mom involved with the things I do now. I would definetly recommend Air Academy to anybody who asks what high school to go to!

Air academy is a good school for education, but when it comes to how the teachers judge students and how students are guided when dealing with problems, it needs help. It is a good academic environment, sports are strong with some coaching flaws, but the administration and faculty are too into their lives and need to focus more on the students and their well being.

Air Academy has an overall outstanding educational system. One of the strongest programs is the music program. They excell higher than any other school or colledge in Colorado. The teachers are well trained and have alot to offer students.

Great school with kids that really strive for top grades. The graduates at this high school are accepted to top colleges in Colorado as well as the United States with college prep beginning freshman year.

All of my children graduated from Air Academy HS. We believed having the high school inside a military installation provided a safe environment which contributed to their learning experiences. They were especially well prepared for college because of the level of education they received at AAHS.

This is a wonderful school with both great Administrative and Teaching Staff. The academics are wonderful with creative teaching and good class ratios. The only down fall are that students them selves are very click oriented and not very open to new students.

Great School, I wish it wasn't on the Air Force Academy. To many people think it is associated with the Air Force which it is not. Overall we wouldn't want to send our kids to any other school. Its strong academically and has a great band program and lacrosse program
