Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

As a parent whose son graduated from Belleview Christian and now being a Belleview grandparent, I have seen the staff at Belleview at work in many areas of education. The loving caring faculty and administrators strive to create and maintain an enjoyable, learning, Christian environment for all students. We are currently seeing constant upgrading of the school in all areas. Qualified, understanding faculty and staff are presenting new ideas, mixed with the tried and tested, to meet the needs of today graduates. I highly recommend Belleview School for top achievement. We are currently working closely with out grandson's education and we love what we see.

I am a parent of students who have and continue to attend Belleview as well as an employee. My daughter was well prepared for college. She has and continues to receive scholarships at a top 100 Christian college. God continues to shape His children into the godly men and women according to His plan. For our family, part of God's plan is an education at Belleview Christian School.

I am a former employee and parent of students at this school. To call it college prep is laughable. To call is Christian is an insult to Christianity. We were there many years while I kept my eyes shut praying things would get better. They only got worse. Please please please! Do your family the service of going anywhere but this school. The head administration is hypocrites and they do not want what is best for your child, they only see the almighty dollar and what's best for the schools name. DON'T waste your time. This place after so many years has ruined my kids faith and belief in Christianity and religion.

There are many things about the school that I value as a parent, but one thing is the personalized learning that my child gets. The small class sizes really facilitate this, and it occurs even in Junior High and High School. I am thankful for the organization skills my daughter learned in 6th grade it has helped her manage the 7 different classes in Junior High with confidence. My girls are becoming such amazing young women that are Christ-centered. Thank You Belleview!

As a parent and teacher I am proud to call Belleview our school of choice. My kids have attended Belleview for 8 years. As an employee I get to know many of the teachers on a personal level and see and hear their love and value of the students. The small class sizes allow for deeper friendships to be built among the students. The teachers are often keenly aware of the students struggles and successes. I can't imagine sending my kids anywhere else for school.

Belleview has high standards and expectations for staff and students. It happens rarely, but once in a while, a parent and/or teacher will try to dictate curriculum, program, and or classroom management changes, including disregarding solid curriculum choices in place, reviewed annually. We are a college-prep school, but they want to impose their preferences, such as "no homework" or "little accountability". Most often, this is accompanied by a growing account balance that is more often the real issue. Fortunately, the majority of our families and staff appreciate accountability, the standards and the commitment to excellence. We encourage anyone with questions about any comments made on this site or in general to contact our offices - we will be happy to visit with you.

Please, do your homework regarding this school. If you desire college preparation, look elsewhere - unless you think massive amounts of workbooks constitute as college prep. Many teachers are not qualified to teach their subject (24 college semester hours in the given field). If you desire a Christian environment, look elsewhere. More often than not, students are told "what not to do" rather than shown Christ's never ending and eternal love for them. Administration does not peacefully collaborate, but rather "their way or the highway." There is no consistency with student discipline; that is, unless you have been enrolled there for quite some time, then administration might be willing to work with you. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I do not see Jesus present in this school; just a school board that will not listen to anyone's (student, teacher, parent) grievances and a handful of administrators that have far too much power.

The people at the school, are no where near Christian, the teachers are not there to really help kids. Bad school, I would not advise anyone to send their kids there, you'd be WAY better off sending your kids to Faith Christian Academy, they are actually dedicated to helping kids find GOD and succeed in life.

Not A good daycare, closed a lot, lunch at 10am,nap at 11am-2:30pm. no hot lunch, then you bring a sack lunch then are told what to feed your child. I was not happy with this daycare at all.

I was previously a homeschooling mom and decided to put my child in Belleview at 2nd grade. He was met with open arms even though most children already knew each other from previous years. He is now in 3rd grade, learning like crazy and having fun doing it! Also a great price for a Private, Christian School!

I love teaching at Belleview. It is amazing being allowed....not just allowed....but encouraged to talk to my class about Jesus Christ. The opportunity to speak to these little ones about not just Math, Reading and Writing but being able to take the time and energy to find out how they tick and what is important to them as individuals is wonderful. The other thing that I love about teaching here is the class sizes. MUCH smaller than your typical school. I currently have only 13 children in my class. Because I have a smaller group, I am able to give that much more attention and focus on each child. It is much easier for kids to "fall between the cracks" when the teacher is completely overwhelmed with 25, 30, or even more children at a time.

I am a parent of two children that attend Belleview and I also am a current staff member. I love this school! Not only do I feel loved and accepted as a staff member, but I also know my children are being loved and well cared for. My children are receiving an excellent education that is of high quality and is Christ-centered. Their teachers have always made themselves readily available anytime there has ever been a question or concern of mine. I was a stay-at-home mom and considered homeschooling, but I believe we made the right choice of sending our family to Belleview!

My 7th & 8th graders transferred from another Christian school in 2013. We drive 45mins twice a day (no problem for them) . They both love the school and teachers and the 8th grader is looking forward to taking honors/AP courses and independent study courses. We all fell in love with the school and staff on our initial tour and visit. I would highly recommend the school. They make learning interesting and challenging for the students. The lines of communication are always open. HIGHLY RECOMMEND M.& S. Neeley

My daughter has attended Belleview Christian for the last 3 1/2 years. She is a senior and will be graduating in 2014. We have loved Belleview and all the staff. My daughter has received so much encouragement by the staff and they truly love her. They always guide her in the right direction and are so helpful. She went from nearly flunking Math, to being on the Presidential Honor roll for the last few years. I would, and do, recommend Belleview as a school of choice.

Like any parent, I'd like to say that my children loved high school and that it was the best years of their lives. Unfortunately, this is not the case. My children attended Belleview Christian School. I didn't want my children going to a public high school, so I looked into a few Christian schools. At first, Belleview seemed like the perfect fit for them. Belleview seemed like a small school with a good education and good, Christian morals. However, I was far from right. My children were able to get straight A's without even trying. A college preparatory school is supposed to challenging, but Belleview's classes are nowhere near as hard as AP classes (or even regular classes) at a local public school. The teachers are very rude and self-absorbed. Most of them show absolutely no care or compassion toward students or parents. I do have to say that a few of the teachers do genuinely care, but most of them aren't even qualified for the subjects they're teaching. If you want your children to get a good education, I'd highly recommend not sending them to Belleview. Send them to a public school for free or pay for a different Christian school where they'll actually get a decent education.

This the second year that my children have been attending Belleview Christian School. WE LOVE IT! What a blessing to have such an incredible, safe, supportive environment for my kids to learn and grow! We are so thankful for the love and care poured into our children as they learn and grow in Christ-like character. Both of my kids have grown leaps and bounds in all subjects! They have had INCREDIBLE TEACHERS that pour themselves into thier students and they have fun while they learn! I know the administration works very hard to make sure all the students at Belleview are receiving a quality, Christ-based education and there is much emphasis on the Parent/Teacher relationship. We are very involved and have loved getting to know all of the Belleview families, teachers and staff! This school has been a literal "God-send" to my family and we will always be grateful for Belleview Christian. My kids are in 1st and 3rd grade and as long as we live in Colorado, my kids will attend Belleview!! WE LOVE BELLEVIEW CHRISTIAN SCHOOL!!!

We LOVE Belleview because the teachers and staff really care about our children. They pray with and for our children. Imagine a place where there are teachers that actually care about how your children are doing. They actually help them succeed in their studies. Godly character is modeled at Belleview by Teachers, Administration and staff. We have been involved with Belleview for 9 years now, two of our daughters have graduated and went on to college and we have two children still at Belleview. One in elementary and one in high school. There are lots of family interactions through sports, plays and the many other events available. The administration at BCS listens and cares about what I have to say as a parent. We can't imagine sending our children anywhere else. We love Belleview and the heart they have for teaching children to learn and to live for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

When it became clear that homeschooling wasn't an option because God gave use 2 babies the year my oldest started kindergarten, we looked at local Christian schools and Belleview was the winner. 10 years later it is still the best choice for our kids. My daughter is quiet and at Belleview she is allowed to be herself and is accepted by her peers and encouraged by her teachers. My son has ADHD and has done well in the smaller classrooms and with teachers who will go the extra mile to help him succeed. I'm thankful that all classes are centered around Christ as that helps our kids to be able to argue their faith. Secondary does a Spiritual Life Retreat every fall and that helps the kids and staff be united as a student body and have a deeper relationship with Christ. As a parent that is priceless to me, after all the most important decision our kids will make is heaven or not.

I am a proud parent of Belleview Christian School. I went to another Christian school before here and I will say what a wonderful change. I love the fact the kids are challenged not only educationally but also spiritually. Both of my kids have accepted Jesus as their savior and have begun to take dual credit college classes. I am thankful that my kids get to attend such a great school. Thank You Belleview!!!

After looking into and checking out at least 8 other schools, we selected Belleview, and have been extremely happy with our choice. The academics are challenging and far more thoroughly taught than in public school. The teachers are caring, and very approachable, interactive, and seem to really care about my son and his success. I was shocked to see some previous reviews that seemed intent on maligning the school, as I have been in every building of the school, day and night for various events, and have never had a problem with the cleanliness, which is far better than the public schools we have attended. The staff and administration are friendly, accessible and know and greet each student by name. The diversity of the school is unmatched, with many international students on campus. Yes, it is a small school, but large enough to have competitive sports and many extra-curricular activities, while being small enough that the students have a feeling of being able to really get to know the other students in their own and other grades. The spiritual support has my son happy we chose Belleview. While there is probably never going to be a "perfect" school, we love Belleview.

Unqualified and uncaring administrators create a hostile environment for both staff and parents. Parents who bring concerns to the attention of the administration are often met with with personal accusations rather than compassionate concern and solutions. This stems, I believe, not from an intent to be hurtful, but from a lack of knowledge, ability, and qualifications needed to meet routine parent concerns and expectations. This lack results in fearful overreaction to complaints or concerns. Mediocrity is celebrated as excellence simply because they do not know any better. Money spent here is lost as gifted, high achieving students find themselves behind when transferred to challenging local schools, or worse, unprepared to participate in rigorous math and science programs when they reach university. Sadly, our family's experience with this school was painfully disappointing. We made numerous attempts at reconciliation and were met with hostility. We have not regretted our decision to withdraw. If you are looking for a high quality academic institution that provides a biblical, Christ-centered environment, unfortunately this school cannot not be recommended.

Our experience with this school has been exceptional. Our children transferred to BCS at the beginning of the 2010 school year. BCS offers a superior quality education at the high school level - confirmed for us in the PLAN and ACT scores our children achieved. They offer dual college credits reducing the cost of future higher education. We did not have any exposure or loyalty to a prior administration and have found the current administration to be caring, invested, and effective in providing a well rounded Christian education. The parents are very friendly and actively involved. The high school has a positive energy that is hard to describe. From the moment our kids stepped in the door, they were made to feel welcome by the other kids. They have grown spiritually and academically. The confidence and life skills gained at BCS are truely unique.

When the leadership of the school changed a couple of years ago, the school took a dramatic nose dive. Horrible, unsupportive teachers, a staff that doesn't seem to care unless you donate above and beyond the money you already have to pay, and parents that are VERY cliquish. God forbid your child doesn't "fit in." The best thing I ever did was to pull her out and keep my youngest far away from this school. The only stars I have to give are for the old administration, who have now left.

I have been attending Belleview since Pre-K and I think that it is a great school. It is easy to fit in and make friends. The teachers are amazing and very supportive. You can receive extra help because of the small class sizes. The school definitely helps you build up your relationship with the Lord. I do think that there should be more options for sports and extra-curricular activities seeing that we pay the school big bucks. But in the end, I would recommend this school ffor those seeking for a loving Christian school that will prepare you for college.

We have two children enrolled at Belleview, our daughter has attended 4-6th grade and our son pre-school and pre-k. Everything about this school is spot on. The teachers, administration, and parental involvement. The teachers are top notch, all of the teachers we have worked with clearly love what they do, their students and the school community. The administration works hand in hand with the teachers, students and parents, a very positive team approach for education. They have an amazing art program, including their own kiln for pottery. An excellent and up to date computer lab, excellent reading program, the girls basketball team went to state this past year, and the theater program is great as well. Parental involvement is such a vital aspect of this school community that they actually have a designated volunteer coordinator to help get parents plugged into the community!

I highly recommend Belleview Christian School! My 3 children have been at Belleview for four years at the pre-school elementary levels. I researched schools extensively, focusing on the following criteria: outstanding education & academics, physical development opportunities & programs, social & extracurricular involvement, spiritual growth emphasizing a biblically based value system. Belleview has exceeded my expectations and my children have truly thrived in this environment! Something I hadn t considered was parent involvement thankfully, parent involvement is welcomed by the administration and is very high at Belleview. Additionally, one of my children has special needs requiring a unique approach to best support his learning style. The teacher s and administration have been incredibly supportive, working with me and my child every step of the way. They listen to my input and go out of their way to try new approaches. Even the doctors express how rare it is to have this level of collaboration with a school. There is no doubt that during these crucial foundational years, my children are doing exceptionally well because of the support we receive from Belleview!

Belleview is home to my 2nd and 7th grader! My 2nd grader has been here since Kindergarten and LOVES it!! My 7th grader transitioned from public school to BCS after 5th grade. They did an amazing job working with him to bring him up to speed to be ready for 7th grade! Both of my kids are truly thriving thanks to the dedication of the staff and administration! We are so thankful that our kids are getting an amazing education coupled with a Bible based daily education, not to mention that the rates are some of the lowest in the area for private education! We love Belleview and would not have our children any place else!

For a private school I had much higher expecations. We had a good experience grades 2 and 3. However, grades 4 and 5 were a very different story. There was absolutley no guidance or support from the teachers. If a child did not understand or fell behind there was no extra effort from the teacher to help that student. When there is only 13 students in a class you expect more one on one attention would be paid to each student. We no longer attend Belleview and feel that we made a very good decision by not sending our child back.

Belleview is a great school to attend. Its not hard to fit in because every student and teacher there are the nicest people you will ever meet. They make you feel like you're all a family and thats the best thing to feel is loved by all you teachers and friends. They are no favorites played at this school everyone is treated equal. This is a school that knows how to have fun but it also makes sure you get your education. They have the best teachers in the world. I have taught in Christian schools for three decades. This is my fourth year at Belleview and I really appreciate the balanced education available to the students here. With RenWeb we have a wonderful communication with the parents. The parents themselves are marvelous and the volunteer program is outstanding. The administration is very supportive and unbiased. My fellow staff members all have different personalities and abilities yet we work together as a team. One distinctive that I value the most here as a teacher is that I am allowed to approach both problems and opportunities in creative ways. Because the lines of communication are always open, I am truly free to teach. I also have 6 grandchildren attending Belleview Christian School from Kindergarten-High School and I have been very impressed with both the quality of education and the sound Biblical approach.

As a parent I have noticed quiet a few changes since the new administration. Changes that affect the student body as well as the class sizes. They will tell you small classes but have 28 in some. I feel that they are very money hungry yet don't see it in what they do to help the student body not sure that I would reccomend this school to anyone a t this time. Maybe three years ago. When I see Elementary students speaking spanish fluently from other private schools and ours is only offered to second grade and can barely pronounce any words it makes you wonder where your money goes to!

i went to Belleview Christian School from 5th grade until 12th grade! yes, there were many hard times that the school went through and many angry people. However, I loved the school so much because of a few reasons: 1. the administration isn't perfect but is loving, understanding, and helpful. 2. the teachers are amazing and care about each student so much that they help you personally one on one. 3. the classes offered teach you political, spiritual, and educational skills that you cant find any where else. 4. the huge ammount of work you have to do helps in life after high school because you know how to handle much and college is easier for the average student from belleview. I would like to see belleview grow and continue on for when i put my children through school! i would recomend anyone and everyone to put their child in belleview!

Our six grandchildren have attended Belleview the past three years. They range in grade from kindergarten to high school. They enjoy both their classmates and teachers. What we appreciate most is the godly, warm and caring atmosphere. We also appreciate the many special classes they may attend including music, art, computer, PE, language and a proactive reading program. OUr high schooler is also in the Broadway production being performed this spring. Several of our children have participated in the sports program. Overall, the school is well-rounded and and exciting for our children. The academics are superior, yet there are considerations for our granddaughter who has some learning difficulties. We feel blessed to have our children here at this school.

The administration at this school is horrible. They don't bother to tell you when you enroll your child that they do not provide any meals, that you must bring in snack at least twice a month (for the entire class), and they are closed more than they are open (including the daycare). There is no reduction in rates for the full weeks that they are closed at Christmas and the last week of summer. Tuition is charged on a monthly basis, and good luck getting a refund should you try to withdraw your child before the month is up. I will say, however, that the teachers we dealt with in the Pre-Kindergarten classes were wonderful! I only wish that the administration would follow the example of these wonderful teachers and practice what they preach.

I am a current parent at Belleview Christian School. I have four children enrolled - all of whom have been through the Kindergarden program. Belleview has a wonderful art program for all elementary students. Homework has been a part of every student's education at Belleview. The time it takes depends upon the student's ability to manage time during the day. All four of my kids have averaged from 15 minutes to about an hour. This has varied from child to child and from day to day. Yes, Belleview did experience some difficult changes last year, but the grace and love that I have come to appreciate is still very much a part of Belleview.

Two of our children attended Belleview during the 2006/2007 school year. As much as we have tried to communicate effectively with the administration, we will be dis-enrolling our children for the 2007/2008 year. Most of the teachers that have had an impact on the lives of our children have been wonderful.. especially the early-childhood-educators. But with the schizm between the church and the school, the change in leadership at the school and the administration that is in place, I would not recommend this educational environment to anyone that would ever ask the question, 'Is there an art program?' or 'Is it normal for a kindergarden student to have well over an hour of homework multiple nights per week?' The list goes on. If you ask, you will immediately be labeled as 'difficult.'

Although my children (K-5 and 3rd grade) have had wonderful teachers, experiences, and leadership, there was a major change in administration this past year which ushered in an avalanche of unfortunate changes. If you are looking for a Christian school which operates with grace and love, this is not the school for you.

I am a former teacher at Belleview. My experience was that this school had a lot of loving people and students, but the administration was extremely tight fisted with their money so teachers' resources were very limited. I probably spent $300 per year on stuff for my own classroom. I never had an aid, I did recess/lunch for my class every day, and I graded all my class' papers as well as teach those children with learning problems. Like I said, the teachers, principal, and administration were very nice people with good intentions. It is a great community spirit and the student body was a positive group, I just think the teachers needed more resources to be more effective.

My daughter was in public school through 9th grade. Hanging out with the wrong kids and having trouble with school I started searching for a new enviroment. Wow! what a difference private school has made. You have smaller classes and the teachers love the students. With Belleview and their Christian teachings the kids get a lot of support, encouragement, love and understanding. They do what is needed to help the kids succeed not fail. My daughter went from drinking, smoking cigerettes, smoking pot, getting into fights and poor grades to a completely changed young lady. She is on the honor roll and given up the life style of reckless living. She is a wonderful young women and has made me proud. The transition wasn't easy but the school saw that my daughter just needed some structure and guidence. Belleview is a positive and caring environment and the kids enjoy the attention they receive. Because it's small you know everyone and everyone know's you so you are held accountable for what you say and do. You don't fall between the cracks which seems to happen in public school if you are not an A student. I can't tell you how this school has not only changed my daughter's life but our lives together. We've become closer and communicate much better as a result of the changes and choices she's made. She is very happy and looking forward to college with great pride in herself for overcoming some difficult teen years in public school. We love Belleview and appreciate all the staff. I would highly recommend the school.
