Yes, we as parents are applauded and supported when we volunteer. We can go to our child's classroom anytime and help with whatever is needed, even without notice, which is really nice.

Yes I am proud of our schools on volunteering. I have volunteered over 600 hours since September to help our student body publish personal narratives and illustrations. The school accomodated me 100%. Wonderful experience and they want others.

No. If you are not a stay home mom or in the stay home mom "click" that stands in front of the school gossiping all day... good luck trying to volunteer. I've decided to put my efforts elsewhere, in volunteering with sports and scouts.
