Yes, I should have a say on who teaches my child if their are openings in a class that my child would feel more comfortable in. I treat my children with love and to many teachers have a idea that kids are all bad and need to be yelled at.

Yes I believe the parent should have the final say but I also believe that it should be partly up to the child.

Yes, especially at my school where from year to year the teachers switch grades. 5th-K, 1-3rd. The expectations of the teachers is either too high or too low when doing this. So, yes.

I think it would be hard to do because there is already a shortage of teachers so we have to be greatful for the ones that we have. It is one of the hardest professions and I commend the ones they fight the hard fight.

I think parents should have input on what teacher their child gets and if a parent has a VALID reason to not want a specific teacher the request should be accomadated - but VALID reasons only - not "I heard this teacher is bad" etc.

I think parents can express opinions but the principal and teaching staff really know the group of kids as a whole much better, and therefore better able to decide the mix of the classes.
