Should schools have boundaries, or should families be allowed to attend any school they wish?

We should be able to choose whatever school we want our children to go to.

If parents are willing to drive the extra distance, why wouldn't they be allowed to choose? Every school is not a match for every child and parents know their children best ...

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.

It should be a combination of the two. Families who live within the boundaries of the school should have first priority. But schools need to fill seats to provide the programs, so the addition seats can be made available to children outside.
