I think Big Picture is a great high school. I have rated excellent, because the classes are smaller and the teacher has more time with one on basic with the student.

This school is one of the most innovating schools in the state oc Connecticut. Students take control of their learning. They are also preparing to take their college courses towards the beginning of their third year. The internships or mentorships allow students to apply the 'in-school learning' to the 'out of school learning'. Who wouldn't want to be enrolled in a school like this?

This school is so unique! Students who attend the Big Picture High school should havew a passion for learning, and a desire to direct his or her own learning. The features: Writing a 75 page autobiology, taking college courses, independent studies, and don't let me forget how the CAPT scores were very strong this year. The principal put together a strong CAPT program and it made the difference. I would rank this school as number one in the district.
