If you're white, don't bother trying to work here. You're going to be treated poorly, undermined in front of students, and nobody will care. Apparently it's impossible for white people, specifically white women, to be discriminated against. None of the people appointed to deal with these claims takes them serious if you're white.

My five year old son is currently attending NBFA. This school went beyond my expectations. His teacher is excellent. The staff are great but my concern is the control the school does not have when the children are not in class. The curriculum is excellent but my son can't go on the bus because the kids are out of control. The bus schedules are terrible. There are not enough buses to accomodate the children. My son would have to take the bus at 6:45 in order to be picked up. I think where the lack in organization they make up in curriculum.

My Grand-daughter goes to this school and i can tell you that its one of the best school in Bridgeport. She started reading from kindergarten and she is doing excellent. The Principal and Teachers are great. The discipline is excellent and i have never got any complains about her classmates being a problem to her that means the children are well behaved in class and thats why learning is excellent. She use to go to other schools in bridgeport and the Teacher would complain about her not being attentive. At New beginning there is a difference and i would recommend any parent to this school. Its a home away from home.
