I was wondering how anyone could score Burnham with less than 5 stars and tried to find the lower scored reviews and found none at least back to 2010. This school is the perfect environment for my grandchildren. They lead happy wholesome lives in Bridgewater and they get to go to a school that is scored at 10 out of 10. This is a public school that feels like an exclusive private school. The families in Bridgewater Connecticut are so fortunate to have such a high achieving school. I know the school is deservedly loved by al who attend it.

Our daughter changed schools (both public and private) when we first moved to CT. We knew that Burnham had a great reputation and were thrilled when we had a chance to buy a house in Bridgewater. Thankfully, the stress of finding the "right" school is over. Our daughter truly enjoys her school and frequently talks of the friends she has made in her own class as well as throughout the grades. The school's small size means that she knows everyone including all of the teachers and staff. She feels comfortable in her surroundings every day and we feel a sense of relief in knowing that socially and academically she attends such a wonderful school.

The Burnham School delivers a top notch education. The dedication of the wonderful teachers, parents, staff and community volunteers make for a unique experience. You do not find that in larger school systems. The community support for the children is outstanding as well. They are nurtured and given their wings to fly!

The Burnham School is absolutely amazing. We've moved to Bridgewater from one of the best school systems in Connecticut. We were a bit tentative about leaving that. But the past year has proven it to be the right choice. We have seen our son grow from a tentative, careful little guy into a fun, happy, involved, CONFIDENT young boy. He has learned to read VERY quickly. The teachers and administrative are attentive and kind. We have heard criticism from other people about the fact that there are such small class sizes, which has been one of the biggest benefits of being a this school. My son has had an awesome teacher with a teachers aid and only 8 classmates. He has gotten individualized attention and is thriving from this. I can't possibly say enough great things about The Burnham School.
