Har-Bur Middle school is a fantastic school. Ken Platz is the best principal! He is enthusiastic, familiar with all of the kids and works hard at that. He works hard to be involved with the parents. The school has great academic options, if you want to work hard and take advantage of them. Guidance is very supportive and involved. The teachers are very good. There are a few that are old or at least worn out, but most of the teachers are really fabulous, excited about working with middle schoolers (must be a little crazy) and keep the kids very motivated. The school is very close socially. We have a nice mix of affluence, country and high family values. I have my second child in middle school now. I was originally worried, but not any more!
