i thought of the teachers as very kind and understanding, but my daughters sophomore we had to take her out of the school due to her being excessively bullied. she claimed that "the teachers didn't say or do any thing about it." i always saw it was a nice school though, very clean spacious etc.
this school is wonderful. all the teachers and staff are very hands onwith the students. they try their best to explain things frm every angle. there may not be very many sports but look at the size of the school. its location is beautiful and i couldnt ask for a better learning enviorment for my child
this school has very little to offer. The teachers are some what understanding and are sometimes hard to deal with. Now that we have to pay to play a sport is just absurd. This school has very tight cliques. The music progrm is a good one for our town of this size. The town is very nice and peaceful.
We have had a positive experience at EHHS. My child always received any extra help she needed. Teachers and coaches went out of their way as well. Dr. Berry is a devoted principal and EH is lucky to have her. Guidance is completely lacking. Not friendly, I am sure overworked, and not helpful in the college process at all. note to future seniors...don't let the guidance dept. sell you short when applying to colleges. They do. Dr. Berry should concentrate her efforts and rework the guidance dept..Maybe the councelors have been there too long.
The sports are great, while not having lacrosse or football, there are still soccer, baseball, softball, track and field, basketball, and tennis. With great facilities for each. The teachers are great, with devotion to students and their well being academically, socially, and mentally. Always ready to help more and go beyond. The guidance department can be slightly difficult at times but for the amount of students each counselor has, and all the other work, they do very well. The music department is fantastic being one of the few left that has only one teacher for it all. Though don't let that be a negative, he is the most devoted teacher there. He runs classes; jazz, concert and marching bands; chorus; as well as men's and women's ensembles. There are many groups as well: Spanish club, Newspaper, Student Counsel, Literary/art magazine, Drama, Model UN, Yearbook, Ski Club, National Honor Society, Flag Team, Interact and others.
The school only his very limited sports and groups to join. No football or lacrosse. The teachers are nice and understanding but the school really doens't have anything to offer other than classes.
I do enjoy going to EHHS. But i do find classes boring, and some teachers annoying. I find that this school doesn't have as much to offer as many people think. Yes, there are art and music programs, and sports; but when you get passed that, I mean what is there?
Excellent staff, sports, and overall positive environment which produces well-rounded and mature young adults.
EHHS is a good school with a fairly relaxed enviroment. If you take advantage of what it has to offer you should do fine with it.
i'll be honest. the administration are great, but they are alittle overbearing when it comes to discipline and the rules(dress code). there are some great teachers, but there are some awful ones. as far as extra-curricular activities, the music program is top-notch. Weybright is the best teacher i've ever had. the sports are class s, and most are pretty accessible to anyone who tries real hard. art and scholarly activities are a little lacking. the admin. try to make going to school fun with spirit week and it is what you make of it. overall it's a very good school and i am proud to have graduated from EHHS.
