We wanted to send our daughter to this school bc my husband went there. She loves it but they have three or four recesses a day, watch nick jr shows everyday and have ants in the closet were they keep the rest mats. Other then that the teachers are delightful!

I am also a proud parent of a child at Mckinley, we are moving this month out of district, and are hoping that the board of Ed will grant us the option to stay at Mckinley. We would be devastated to leave this great school!

I am a parent of a child in McKinley School. I can not be more thrilled with the school, and especially it's teachers and students. I absolutely love the diversity! The only thing I wish they would do, is stop this issue with saying that McKinley School is out of balance because it has more minorities than any other school. What's the problem? There are other schools in Fairfield that are all white, but you don't here anything about their being an imbalance there. Unfortunately there is a certain level of racism that comes with Fairfield. The Caucasian people of Fairfield simply can not be trusted. Especially those that live on the beach side of Fairfield. I hesitate saying that as I don't want to come off as being narrow-minded. But facts are facts. And the people that live on the beach side, make no illusions about their feelings.

McKinley School is Fairfield's best kept secret. This school not only has the best brand new building, but the best resources, teachers, principal, and staff. I'm very impressed with everything. After seeing some of the other schools, I am blessed to have my children attend this school.

We like McKinley because the staff always puts in that extra effort to help their students. We agree, it isn't just a school but a big family. We feel very lucky to be here!

The quality and caliber of the teachers and administrators, specifically, their compassion and commitment to providing the most nurturing learning environment. McKinley is a strong example to other schools of how important it is to nurture a child's spirit and provide a wide variety of opportunities for growth.
