I'm very happy for the families listed above. Our situation turned out a little different... The principal was friendly and did know everyone's name. When report cards came out, I was devistated at my childs grades. My child is failing first grade, how is that possible? We took our daughter to Huntington learining center for an eval. We wanted someone honest to tell us what we can do to help our child.

We've had three kids pass through Kearns, and we are very happy with the quality of education. The teachers are all very focused on finding the individual strengths and weaknesses of each child, and helping them excel. The principal is amazing - hands on, knows every child and most parents by name. One drawback is the lack of a hot lunch program, and no sports programs. Physical Education could be better, with childhood obesity being a problem everywhere.

Kearns is an excellent school. Your child will receive the very best in education, teachers and support. This school is one of the best run schools and you will have complete confidence that your child is receiving superior teaching. The principal and teachers offer overwhelming support and stay on top of possible shortcomings. They do everything they can to compensate the student with time and patience. The extra support has been critical to my child and I am so thankful they have been so supportive of him. The music and art programs are acceptable, however, sports are provided for a fee through the town. Parents are always welcome to be involved in and out of school.
