I am currently a freshman. All I can say is that i love this school. Sure there is a lot of homework but that is something I expected and is worth it. I easily made new friends since I am the only one from my school going here. In this school teachers care about you and you can be yourself in this school and not be judged about.

I am currently a senior at SHA and overall I would have to say I love it here. The workload is very hard but it is worth it. I am applying to many colleges and universities that I never thought possible. The overall enviorment is good and the teachers are amazing!

As an alumna of Sacred Heart, I have to say that I am very proud of the wonderful institution, and that I learned so much about life, other people, and being a better person. I now go to Uconn; 100% of our girls go to a 4 year college or university and we are all extremely thankful to the faculty, staff, and fellow students for shaping us so well. The academics are great, especially the concentration in writing and science. Go to SHA!

I am currently a student at SHA. Going here really makes me strive to be better: academically and socially. There are many extra-cirricular clubs and sports teams that students can join, and a teaching staff unlike anywhere else. Alumni have told me how much attending Sacred Heart Academy has helped them, and provided them with experience that will aid them for a lifetime.

My daughter entered SHA after nine years of urban public school. She worked very hard academically, but also had a great time participating in athletic activities and other extracurriculars. The expectations were high, but the rewards were great. She was accepted into every college to which she applied and will be attending one of the best schools in the country in the fall. It was privilege for her to spend four years at Sacred Heart Academy.

The education is wonderful. Students are prepared well for college. The school is very rigid and sticks to the rules and attempts to ensure that each girl has a good moral conscience. There is a large amount of work and pressure on the students is great. Overall, the faculty and staff are courteous although some teachers are too 'play by all the rules', but that is how the school wants them to be.

I would encourage any parent in Southern Connecticut with a daughter entering high school to attend the open house and see what a beautiful campus and great academic setting that Sacred Heart offers.Tuition is a bargain compared to other prep schools and the scholarship that my daughter received from Howard University made it worth the sacrifice.Sacred Heart provided more than a great college prep education; it allowed my daughter to grow and blossom into a wonderful self-confident, independent young lady she is today. I wish I had another daughter because I miss going to Sacred Heart for all of its spirit and beauty. Take your daughter this october and see for yourself.
