I could not disagree more with the first two reviews. This school has been amazing, and both myself and the whole neighborhood loves it here. The arts and music programs are phenomenal, the teachers are caring and get the kids to enjoy school and respect their peers and teachers. PTO is well-organized and run by fantastic parents. Office staff and nurse go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. My daughter loves it here and (most importantly) loves school. I couldn't ask for more for my kids.

My child attended second grade at this school. We feel it was a wasted year--their english and reading program is ridiculous, the children come out more confused than when they went in. The teacher was horrible at being an "educator." Her lessons and notes etc. were wrought with misspellings, she marked things wrong that were correct and things correct that were wrong--yet she was named "Teacher of the Year" !!! Only in a public school could this happen.Spend the money and go to a private or parochial school. The Principal is apathetic with a Napolean complex--though he tries to come off as a do-gooder.

Below average education offered at this school. English and spelling courses are way below par. Principal is apathetic and all show-no substance. Superintendent of Schools pays lip-service to the parents--and nothing more. Many problems at this school; educational, financial, ethical, political. Due to the politics if the Superintendent and Principal, a Liberal agenda is force fed to the students and parents in weekly email updates and fliers sent home in the children's folders. My children will NOT be going to the middle school next year (even more issues there), we will move to a new town/district or go the private route.
