The quality of education at Haddam Elementary is exceptional and reflects the commitment and dedication of faculty, staff and Regional District 17. The children are advanced at all levels and many times are challenged to reach higher goals. The school offers many specials to provide students with a well-rounded curriculum and also provides smaller classroom sizes for greater personalized attention. We moved to Higganum because of the school system since it is one of the best in the state and it continues to live up to the expectations. Gary Mala, Superintendent of Schools, is exceptional and should be commended on a job well done.
