Our school community is just one of the many reasons we love our school. Teachers are so knowledgeable about what is really going on with our children and what their needs are. This is not a cookie cutter school. They truly look and appreciate each individual child. They are always looking for different was to meet the needs of my children. And even when a challenge arises with your children they will work with you to figure it out. Also the office staff is always helpful and supportive. It truly does take a village and at Litchfield Montessori I never feel like I am alone is this plight to raise happy, healthy and wonderful little adults. Truly feel like they will be ready for the great job of life based on their Montessori education.

This school has been an answer to everything my son has needed. The environment of peace, respect, and kindness has transformed my son. The teachers are incredibly supportive and caring. They creatively find ways to engage, excite, and teach each child and meet their needs. My son loves going to school and is happy when he comes home too. I can't say enough about how much I love LMS!

Just one visit was enough to make me wish I went there myself! It is so nice to see my kids return home with acorns in their pockets and begging to help me clean something because they enjoyed a particular work that day. The work in the classrooms is so beautiful and the environment so peaceful. What I found out once our children started attending was how dedicated and experienced the teachers are. Definitely come for a visit. You will love this sweet little school.

I could not say more about Litchfield Montessori. My son has been at this school for 10 years and the teachers are outstanding, the environment is beautiful and the community is welcoming and engaged in what Montessori is all about. In a world that is so wrapped up in competition, the world of Montessori is all about peace, social acceptance and helping one another. I love Montessori education and I believe LMS brings everything to the table to make for a bright and encouraged future of capable adults.

My 7 and 9 year old boys are thriving at LMS. They have enthusiasm and a love of learning that is cultivated by a caring and supportive faculty. My children have been in a Montessori school since age 3, (this being their 3rd year at LMS) and it has made such a difference for all of us. My boys are growing into capable, independent and confident individuals, who love going to school each day. The faculty at LMS, approach each child as an individual first and work to bring out the unique potential of each student. I especially love the sense of community that each classroom develops as the children learn to value each other and to work together. When we relocated to CT, my first priority was to find a good Montessori school in which my boys could continue; LMS has exceeded my expectations.
