My daughter graduated from this school several years ago. I was very disappointed at the language that is used evryday in the hallways and in the classrooms. The administration needs to step up and discipline these children CONSISTENTLY. That language isn't used in my household, so why does my child have to hear that kind of talk for 7 hours? Do something about it, forget about being politically correct and deal with the problem kids period. The girls are haunted like dogs from a certain breed of boys (NO MEANS NO), it borderlines harrassemnt. They should also expel the kids that don't like being disciplined, have their parents deal with them at home. Bullying is way out of control, your school is only as good as your administrations backbone, it seeems to me that the adminstration is afraid of these out of control kids and their parents. This leaves the good kids subjected to constant bullying and harrassed. Maybe the new superindendent will step up and put in some very clear and defined rules that EVERYONE has to follow not just the select few kids who already follow the rules. My two other children will never step foot in this school until they got control.

I am a parent of one who graduated from Maloney in 2000. My other child is a junior now at this wonderful school. They have made it possible for her to receive extra help. She is planning on continuing her education after high school thanks in part to the wonderful teachers and advisors who are always encouraging her. She has even gone to see how other occupations work to see if that is something she might be interesed in. I think Meriden has a super education system and my children have benefited being here in Meriden. Keep up the great work!
