Teachers are not certified, grounds are falling apart. Graduates find themselves ill prepared mentally and socially for both college and real world interaction.
As a parent of a student at Berean Christian Academy I can't say enough good things about the school. My child has grown in academics, in character and in spirit. The school may be small in size but is large in heart and family. The teachers are loving and kind and have kept my child on track in order for her to become the honor roll student she has become. They have helped create a foundation in her that will take her through the rest of her life. Berean Christian Academy is one in a million! Thank you Berean Christian Academy Pastor and Staff.

I am a parent of a middle school age child who was interested in attending Berean. I went for a visit and was immediately turned off by the inappropriate physical discipline that they use at this school. I was speaking to the headmaster of the school, a woman who uses a paddle in her office on students. I was appalled when I was told this, and I got up with my child and left the office right away. I was also surprised at the physical condition of the school. There is no heat, or A/C. The school is not a whole building, but a bunch of narrow trailers, that seem to be falling apart, connected together. Please look into Christian Heritage School, in Trumbull, CT, if you are looking for a school with a true "biblical" world view. I would seriously think twice before sending a child of any age to this school.

All of my children have attended BCA and have developed good character and study skills. They have grown in their desire to see America restored to her founding principles and have respectifully challenged their liberal college professors. They continue to want to see their generation fulfill its opportunity to influence others in a positive direction. I am thankful for the dedication of the staff, parents, and students of BCA. Those who have embraced BCA's Christian values have prospered because of them. Keep up the good work BCA. It's been good building BCA with you.

2 months ago I enrolled my great neice into Berean Christian Academy. She was failing and not at all motivated in the public school middle school system, She was a little fish in a large pond literally drowning. Without the proper time or attention given her she was getting lost. the fact that no one cared bothered us. Today 2 months later she is again excited about school, and learning. She is making friends and focusing on her school life. The teaching staff has been very in tuned to her needs. Finally a school who encourages a child to have responsibility, for themselves. They also provides the tools for a child to learn. We are blessed to have this school as a part of our lives. I highly encourage any parent looking for alternatives to public school to seek out this school.
Though they seem to love the students, they are also disciplined inappropriately(physically). I would ask serious questions about this school before sending your child there!

The teachers at Berean are loving and caring and they treat each child as if they were they're own children. The students have great relationships with the teachers and thier classmates. I love Berean and i think that if you're loking for your child to get a good Christian education based on principles and good morals, than Berean is the place for you and your child to be.

As a mature student with bca in their first year, i can say there is much to be desired. Teachers who actually understand what they are teaching is the most important issue. When your teacher asks you if they are saying or spelling something right, you know you've got a problem. Unfortunately the most intelligent favored teacher in the higher grades is no longer there. The lack of teaching that took place that year set many students back in their learning. I would recommend a serious soul search before sending your children there. If you want good for them, and you want them to learn and succeed, you definitely want to look elsewhere.

My daughter is going into her 7th year at BCA. I have another daughter beginning kindergarten this year. My husband and I are so thankful that there is a christian school that not only excels in academics but also teaches christian values. and is affordable. We recommend you go visit for yourself and you be the judge. You will be moved by the professionalism of the staff and the caring for each student. THe classes are small allowing for more one on one with the students.

My children have attended Berean Christian Academy since the second year the school was opened. They have excelled academically because of the small classroom size (max. - 15 students per class) and the loving concern and excellence of both the teachers and staff. This is a great college prep school where students are challenged to excell academically as well as in character.

The staff is hard working and devoted. The children are very well educated. This is not only a place to visit, but a place to remain. If you want a loving and nuturing atmosphere, BCA is the place to be.

This school faithfully continues to plug in and labor with every family that walks in through its door. Grace is abundant and God's love flows through each and every individual. If you truly want your child educated in the Word of God and grow up to be a world changer, then send your children to Berean Christian Academy.

The practices are not of god. The school has a serious control issue, especially if you are not in the click. There is not enough teachers and the teachers are not educated. There is additionally favoritism amount the staff. Before enrolling your child(ren) into this institution, please do your home work. There are not certified with the connecticut state education system.
