If you don't know what Montessori is about I recommend you read Montessori Madness by Trevor Eissler and do a search on utube for Montessori to view a classroom in action. NESM is a great school! Caring teachers who treat the children with respect and know how to get the children to challenge themselves. My daughter will be entering her "kindergarten" year where she will be doing work that children in the 1st grade do at public schools. She has already started to read at the age of 4 and is very good with her geography and astronomy. I look forward to keeping her in this school for her elementary school years. The school moved to a new location January 2009 and completely remodeled the building. The classrooms are bright, open, airy and let in lots of natural sunlight. The school educates children from 18 months up to 6th grade.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
