I completely disagree with the comment about the principal (who has now been named the permanent principal). She truly has her finger on the pulse of the school and makes continuous improvements to the curriculum. She is a no nonsense leader who can relate to parents as easily as students. Having been in the public school system, I can say there is no comparison. At St. Jude the entire child is taught, meaning values are instilled in them on a daily basis. This, coupled with the strong academic foundation which the school gives the students, has prepared my child well for the future. I wouldn't choose any other school!

Too small, limited resources, poorly trained teachers and an interim principal that falls far short of excellence. Monroe public schools far superior.

St. Jude has been a wonderful experience for both our kids and us as parents. The education is exceptional. This became most clear when the children went on to high school and discovered they were more prepared for that challenge than most of their classmates.

I'm thankful to be part of St. Jude School community since 2004. I currently have two children in the school and I have seen them grow and become inspired to accelerate and challange themselves as individuals of faith, in academics as well as morals and ethics in a supportive and nuturing environment. These attributes of St. Jude school will help guide my children in their future endeavors.

Our oldest son started St. Jude as an 8th grade student 3 years ago. He had a horrible experience at our town's public middle school and so our goal was to get him in a more positive environment and prepare him for the transition into high school. It was the best decision we ever made!! Mrs. Dunn, the school's principal, was very attentive to our concerns and worked with us to make his move into the school seamless! The school community was so welcoming... faculty, staff, parents and students! Because of this postive experience, last year we transferred our daughter from our local public elementary school into St. Jude for 4th grade and put our youngest son into kindergarten. I know that they are in great hands academically, spiritually and emotionally!

I have 3 children who have attended this school. My youngest will be graduating for 8th grade this year. We have been at this school for 14 years. It is a loving , caring , respectful place to learn. Our faith has been reinforced and nurished at St Jude's. The academics are excellent and my other children were well prepared for high school and are excelling academically and St Jude's is the reason.

we've been @ St. Judes for 5 years. My daughter has always excelled in math and reading test scores, several years ahead. Amazing teacher-student ration, who teach not only academics, but moral and ethical qualities and responsibilies for these students to excell in all their future endeavors. AMAZING!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
