I moved my kindergartener out as soon as I could. My wife and I wanted to get involved, but there is no formal PTO or PTA. After we approached his teacher, who is a very nice but already jaded 20-something she told us "I don't have children, but if I did, I wouldn't send them here." The facility is terrible--no real space for children to play outdoors either for recess or PE. Resources are limited. This school is obviously underfunded. The school is loud and unruly. The administration (principal and school secretary) talked down to us and were generally dismissive when we had questions. This school services a troubled neighborhood with many social ills and is an "overflow" school for NHPS--its transitory for many students until something opens up in their neighborhoods.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
