I have been impressed with the learning environment and culture that the administration and staff of Columbus have created. Whenever I visit, the hallways are quiet, classrooms orderly. The Principal is well-respected by the teachers, staff, and parents. There is an active PTO. My Kindergartener gets a lot of homework--my wife thinks too much--but I have been impressed with the improvement he has made in his reading and math skills. I am also very excited about the dual-language learning program.

I am a parent, i start as a volunteer know i work as a part-time tutor, and i i see parents are involvement, the teachers do good activities with are children they do their best i have 2 kids one in second grade, and one on third grade and am happy what their are learning and most thing i like about columbus is that we have dual language programs are children are learnin a second language. And Dr. Benitez i think she is the best she is a really leader she is always checking the classrooms to see everybody is working together. Am happy with the staff at columbus.....Thank you for your support with are children because theyh are our future. Ms. Rivas
