Unfortunately, the teachers (enthusiastic or otherwise) are at a serious disadvantage at Truman due to the overwhelming number of students that do not speak English as a first language. Teachers should not be expected to fulfill curriculum requirements AND teach basic English language at the same time. All parties are losing out...and we're taking our son elsewhere before he gets lost in the shuffle.
