I think what the freshman and sophomore students below me said is ridiculous. They probably just hate NB because of their own personal drama problems. I'm a senior and I have always found North Branford to be one of the best school districts out there. I think a lot of people complain about the town before they even see what students from other towns are like. We are raised from a young age to be close to one another and I think we are. Other schools are rude and made up of cliques. There have barely been any physical fights since I got to NBHS in 2007. NBHS is wonderful!

I am a sophmore at NBHS and am currently about to take the CAPT. After discussing issues with my friends I feel that NBHS does not have the best school administration. The student body has many poor students who do not try and do not stick to acceptable behaviour. There are plenty of good teachers at the school but there are also a significant amount of teachers who in general do not discuss the topics as well as they should or not in an understandable manner. I feel that I have not been prepared for the CAPT very well either. The community is also fairly cliqueish as mentioned. Many teachers need to be more aware that they are not the only teacher a student has. In conclusion I would give NBHS a 2.5 out of 5 if it was possible.

I am a ninth grade students currently at NBHS. After just graduating the town's middle school, i have concluded that both schools have many characteristics that lead to lots of success in the long-run. The most challanging aspect of this switch to high school was that the work load becomes heavier, and more time consuming than in the middle school. And it seems that many of my teachers do not explain certain subjects as much as they should. Even so, North Branford Schools creates an above average learning experience. The athletcs here are above average also. We may not have the most wins, but our devotion to our sports deffinetly show. I think its important to know that academics are a bit more important than athletcs to the school system. Lastly, the student body can have mixed associations. We deomnstate unity, but we can also appear 'clique-ish' at many times.
