I am rating the high school only because that is the only level I have first-hand knowledge of. Although I do agree that the staff at NSCA is mostly made up of wonderfully caring and dedicated individuals, that is not all it takes to make a school great. Standards for academic excellence and disciplinary order are simply not in place at the high school level. The resulting atmosphere is not at all conducive to spiritual or academic excellence. Again, my comments are directed toward the high school program at NSCA only; I have heard wonderful things about the lower grade levels.

The one star is wrong. I went to NSCA for two years, and its the best school I've ever been to. I'll admit the building is'nt the most attractive, but the teachers and students are unbeatable. I met my best friend, my favorite teacher (Mr.G), and it was the best school year of my life.

My children have gone to this school for 2 years. I have only but wonderful thing to say about the compasion the staff gives to the children. They have have done a great job with preparing my children to the up coming years. Our son is a handful but Mrs. Foley has done a great job working with him on different events, and i and greatful for that thank you. My daughters 1st and second grade teachers were wonderful, Mrs. Willams made the transition for my daughter very easy, Mrs. King worked with my daughter so she would see her full potential and i thank you for very much for a great 2 years. Great school. Mr. & Mrs. Scott Burdett

I have a 9 year old at the NSCA and he has been attending since he was 5. We love the warmth of the teachers, the respect that the students have for each other and the way that the school teaches to give to others. Mrs. Wilkinson was my son's first teacher crush! We wouldn't trade our experience at the school for anything. Mary Ellen Comolli

our children have been attending the academy for three years and are excited for each new school day. the great care and nurturing of the teachers cannot go unmentioned. their focus is the cultivation, motivation and preparation of young minds for academic excelence. above all, the childen are shepherded to walk with jesus and reach a deeper level in their relationship with god. the academy is enhanced by private piano, violin, voice and guitar lesssons. we currently have an art program and a fantastic basketball team. spanish is introduced as early as second grade and the writing program encourages children to publish their own creative works. winter workshops and a yearly science/history fair are also a big hit. our drama team puts on three performances a year. we host the art festival and the speech meet. chapels are held every friday with a veriety of speakers and devotions are held daily.

I was fortunate enough to attend NSCA as a teen and I am thankful that our son can go there now. I think the leadership is outstanding! The teachers have become extended family to us. The children certainly receive both quality academics and solid christian principles at this school!

I have 3 three children attending NSCA. The school is filled with the absolute love of the Lord. Your children will be challenged academically and inspired spiritually. The class size is small so your child will receive the attention required to master any subject. The building is old and some what worn, but each child learns to their fullest extent. The teachers teach because they are called to teach, it is not for the benefits, cost of living increases or the longevity pay. They are doing what the Lord has called them to do, and they are wonderful! Take a tour with Mrs. Wilkinson and see what NSCA can do for your family.

I am a teacher at NSCA and I love it. I feel very embraced, encouraged, and challenged to be the best teacher I can be. I have my two sons there, because they will get the best education and the most nurturing at NSCA. As teachers there, we will challenge you child to be his or her best, we will set the bar high to help them stretch, and we will teach the Word of God and try to model its teachings. NSCA, to me, demonstrates the love of God in its many outreaches. I love this school and highly, highly recommend it. Although an older facility, here is a small taste of improvements just last year: new playground fences, pre-K's own bathroom, massive landscaping, & other improvemnts the teachers did themselves. Again, I love NSCA. Please note, too, that the student body is about 150 now.
