Fantastic, nurturing, dedicated staff and a beautiful learning environment encourages kids to develop the skills for divergent thinking and a life long passion for curiosity and self motivated learning. The curriculum is well balanced and emphasizes positive social interaction, role modeling and compassion as much as academics. Located on a historic farm, the kids care for llamas, chickens and a school garden. Mixed age classrooms are in inspiring converted loft -barn buildings which create a very unique learning environment. Our children are very happy and successful with the program, and so are we. Worth the drive!

Beyond pleased with the quality education my children are receiving at MDS. The education extends beyond the classroom and they are learning life lessons and the importance of working together within a community. Worth every penny, and the 30 minute drive!

I have a three year old daughter that attends. Although it's a little pricey, your child definitely receives a great education.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
