The way it supports it's students. As a grandparent my wife and I are raising our grandson. He is a special needs 8 year old. The school provides special programing to support his needs.
I was a parent of a wheeler school child and it is not a great school at all. The principal is a very big problem at the school. The teachers are good but they have a bad boss who makes it very hard for them to come to school. This is a bad enviroment and thats why we moved to another school district. The board of education does nothing about it either and they could care less.
I cannot say enough good things about this school! Wheeler is a wonderful learning environment where teachers, the Principal & staff are the most caring people, and place the utmost importance on the education, safety & well being of each child, as well as teaching important values and fostering a sense of community. Wheeler is a unique small town school with a strong sense of community and family envolvement. I would highly recommend Wheeler to anyone looking to settle down in the Plainville area who is lucky enough to be in that school district! Speak to anyone who has children at Wheeler & I am sure you will hear the same praise!
